I bet you never even knew there was a site for fans of local TV news themes
There is, and it’s been around for years. I’ve been visiting this site since I was in college.
You can basically choose whatever market you grew up in, listen to the themes, and imagine sitting down to dinner at home while the 6pm news starts.
And for the record, my favorite TV news theme of all-time is Frank Gari’s Image News. I would list off the places where you might have heard it, but the list is too long (it’s been used in 48 TV markets nationwide).
ahhh, this brought a smile to my face and a tear to my eye
